The resort is beautiful, situated right on the shore of Lake Michigan. The rooms are spacious and clean with spectacular views of the lake, and literally every person who worked there greeted us with a smile. The water park has something for everyone, young and old alike, and there are tons of events planned such as crafts, bonfires, and bingo for those who would rather not get wet. There are tons of restaurants nearby within walking distance and there are great restaurants on site (including a cafe that serves Starbucks). We will definitely be returning! Great weekend getaway!
Place is awesome! Service and staff are amazing. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Lakeside view and fire place was an added bonus!! Water park, of course, was a hit with our kids but so was Santa's workshop. Any and all calls to the front desk were resolved immediately. (We blew a fuse, kids plugged the toilet) this place was overall great to spend our mini vacation. We'll definitely be back in the summer!!
Bonus: ATM on location, Starbucks and ice cream - must try! Walmart a few minutes away and the children's museum was fun and inexpensive.
Fantastic! The cottages are wonderful, clean, comfortable and roomy. You can hear the crashing waves of lake Michigan outside. The water park is awesome, lots of slides, excellent temperature and plenty of lifeguards. Very family friendly beautiful resort.
Rooms are nice, went for the indoor water park. Kids loved it. I even had a lot of fun on the surfing simulator. The water temperature is nice unlike most pools or watermarks where all you want to do is get out and dry off. They even have activities planned each night if you wanted to do something different with the family (smores, crafts, etc).
The hotel itself was really nice. We stayed in a three bed room, the second bed was up in a lofted part of the room which I thought was neat. Staff were friendly. The water park is definately designed for kids, only had two slides and not much else for adults. The view of the lake is great and there's a pier nearby.
