Stopped to look at a new Honda metropolitan scooter and inquired about trading in my old one. After being handed off to another sales associate I did a test ride and said let's talk, he informed me that he would check the trade in value and call me. He has yet to call and Cedar Creek in Cedarburg was happy to sell me my new metropolitan. I sold the old one outright, point being the promised callback did not happen.
I purchased a new boat through Sheboygan Powersports in March 2017. I was on my way to a different personally respected dealer, MW Marine, to place the order when I received a call from Josh. Josh requested me to hold off from making the deal with MW Marine, "They would make it worth my while." So, I headed up to Sheboygan to see what they good do. Up front, very friendly, very devoted to not only matching the price, but beating the basic boat price that I had from the other dealer. As part of the deal I was offered a 20% discount on all other boating supplies that I purchased through them and a price match guarantee of quotes that I received from other dealers. It was too good to be true after signing on the dotted line. I checked around to find the best price and then contacted them for their prices. They never once quoted a cheaper price, they refused to match prices that I found from other dealers and definitly did not give me the 20% discount that was initially promised.
Finally, the boat arrived and I was given a new guaranteed delivery date. So, I made family plans for the following weekend, a full week after the promised delivery date, just in case they were delayed AGAIN for a few days. So, my family and I arrived to pick up the boat. They said, yep we are just putting the finishing touches on the boat. End of this date's story we rolled out of the store nearly 8 hours later! Ok, things are ok now, right? Not! I needed to get a simple itemized sale receipt so I could claim my accessory promotional rebates. I went round and round with different managers who stated they would take care of this request right away. After a few emails, after a few direct phone calls, after speaking with the finance manager, after speaking with the sales manager a couple of times, I still have not received the receipt!
Sheboygan Powersports is just like a Hollywood sleazy car sales person, tell you what you want to hear until you sign on the dotted line.
Terrible, Purchase a new Lund for over 50 K, took them over 6 months to get me the correct prop. It took them 4 tries, and me driving to Sheboygan to pickup the wrong parts. Riggers mounted the transducer way to low on boat so that a stream of water jets in while on plane, also transducer has a cracked bracket, so they run a screw through the break away straight into the transom. Bunks on trailer were never tightened, flop all over. Almost every person I delt with , manager, several parts people, service no longer work there, It hasn't been a year. Sales guy apologizes up and down, we'll take care of you.... nothing.
Had a great experience at Sheboygan powersports both Eric and Tyler bent over backwards to make me a great deal on my new goldwing and helped in every way with the transaction and also the transport of the bike to my home in Georgia,wouldn’t hesitate to buy again from this dealership,best inventory I’ve ever seen
Just bought my new Lund Rebel here and this place is rocking. They were moving boats around the whole time I was in there, lots of inventory here. Sales staff of Josh and Eric were very helpful and knew what they were talking about when it comes to Lunds. Service was very quick to turn around my boat and get it to me by the weekend. Highly recommend this place, they don't beat around the bush and have great deals! Thanks guys!
The promised boat delivery date was passed by some time. While I was waiting for the boat to arrive I found THEM a better price on the kicker motor than what they stated they could get it for at their COST. Question: How is it possible that an ordinary customer is able to get a cheaper price on a motor than the dealer can get it from the manufacturer itself? I even offered to buy, and to drive and pick up the motor from the other dealer myself. They stated that would not be necessary, because they had it in stock. After a few days and a few interactions inquiring on the status of the kicker motor, they became truthful and said it never arrived as previously stated--"it is on backorder." I once again offered to go buy the motor from the other dealer, which had several in stock, and hand deliver it so they could get this boat out the door. Once again, they stated they had it handled; once again, wrong again.
Sheboygan Powersports did have a very nice selection of products to sell. The store environment was pretty decent as well. Josh the sales person was very friendly. However, everything else after that was VERY subpar. A lot of promises were made that never came to fruition. They never once matched or beat a price quote with the exception of the initial boat purchase itself. They tried selling me and outfitting my boat with products that would not even functionally work with my applications. They were not aware of the technical specs of the boat and how to install a few of the basic items--I had to teach THEM how to install items from what I learned from Lund myself. Lastly, I had nicks and scratches in my boat from the installation processes which I was promised touch up paint and never received. These guys can definitely talk the walk, but cannot walk the talk. I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP IF I WERE YOU, VERY INCOMPETENT IN SALES, SERVICE AND FOLLOW THROUGH. If it was not for my substantial personal leg work I can only imagine what would have happened with my deal. Don't fall for their statement, "we are working on cleaning up the staff to make things better."
