A great time for kids and adults! The museum staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and there are always new exhibits and events to warrant purchasing a family pass for $30.
Very great place to learn about the history of Sheboygan! I was lenient on if I wanted to go but I had so much fun and even got to play a few pianos!
The facility was very well taken care of and seemed well-run. The volunteer and paid staff were all extremely friendly & helpful. Really interesting stuff here!
Included with the regular museum are access to the nearby Taylor house, which is creepy fun with the period dressed mannequins; a log cabin built to house period items from the settlement of the area; an original cheese factory with multiple tools used in cheese and dairy production throughout the decades; and a large barn with antique implements from various operations!
Our first visit and it was amazing! The kids had fun with all of the Prange's window displays and we had a great time reading and looking at the history of Sheboygan.
Had a Santa there to take pictures with the kids. Unexpected but awesome. Also some other Christmas related things for the kids. Still had great historical displays on top of that. Was a great time.
Christmas time is the biggest draw for locals, as the museum houses the 50's Christmas exhibits donated by the now-gone Boston home store.
