The fact that we were able to walk into a no-joke video rental place has a profound nostalgia to it. A friend and I just happened in there one day and spent a good hour browsing DVD and video games and talking to the staff. If I was staying in town permanently I would absolutely buy a membership. Definately go in and have a 90s moment - savor it. It was a simpler time.
There was one time that a dvd glitched we were given a free rental the next time we came in to make up for the damaged disk.
